Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Arusha.

After lunch in Arusha, drive to Lake Manyara National Park (about 2-3 hours from Arusha).

Afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and a variety of other wildlife.

Overnight stay at a lodge or camp near Lake Manyara.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Tarangire National Park

Morning game drive around Lake Manyara to spot more wildlife and birdlife.

Afterward, head to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours' drive).

Afternoon game drive in Tarangire, known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees.

Optional evening sundowner at your lodge to relax after a day of safari.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Early breakfast, then drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 5-6 hours, you can also opt for a scenic flight if available).

Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the Great Migration and its vast savannah landscape.

Optional sundowner or evening game drive in the Serengeti to spot nocturnal creatures.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Explore various parts of the park, from the southern plains to the Seronera region, where you're likely to spot a variety of animals including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and wildebeest.

Packed lunch in the park for a convenient midday break.

If visiting during the Great Migration, witness the crossing of the Mara River.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Early breakfast and morning game drive in the Serengeti.

Drive to Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 3-4 hours). You’ll be passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, known for its highland views.

Afternoon visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Descend into the crater for a game drive, where you'll see a high density of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, rhinos, and lions.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Departure

Morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater for more wildlife sightings.

Drive back to Arusha after lunch (approximately 3-4 hours), or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home, depending on your departure time.

Accommodation: If you have a late departure, you can spend the night in Arusha or catch a flight back directly from the Serengeti (if available)
